Ascari A10

The Ascari A10 race prototype was produced with the help of ex-Formula One designer, Paul Brown to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the company. Like the KZ1, the A10 features a 5.0-litre BMWV8 - this time producing 625 BHP via a six-speed sequential manual gearbox, and with a top speed of 220mph. The A10 features the same carbon-fibre chassis as the KZ1, with clamshell bodywork, FIA-specification roll cage and racing suspension. As a racing prototype, luxuries like soundproffing, airconditioningand stereo system have been removed, wit hthe car purely focused on performance and handling. The A10 featured on the BBC's 'Top Gear' in December 2007, where Jeremy Clarkson described it as a "a staggering car ... like a Koenigsegg but a million times more manageable".
