Teac has recently dropped their newest external DVD writer ‘DV-W28PUK-T’ for the European market. Targeted towards netbook users who are always on the move, this slim drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and provides write speeds of up to 8x for DVD+R/-R, 6x for DVD+R DL, DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, 4x DVD+RW and 24x for CD-R/-RW. Measuring 142mm x 142mm x 19mm and weighing 309 grams, the Teac DV-W28PUK-T sells for 64.90 Euro (about $85).
