Starting Out Slowly

Staying fit is a sure way to stay in the spotlight. Having a well developed body does not necessarily mean a fit body, but the inverse is true. If you are a daily runner or jogger your stamina will be good and working out in a gym should not be problem for you. Check the internet for a few beginner exercises. You will find plenty and most are well known like chip-ups, push-ups and sit-ups. Your form is important, so watch a few videos to help you with it. As your strength improves so will your form and it will get easier to the point that these exercises will become warm-up exercises.

Gaining muscle mass is a hard thing to do. It will take a lot of effort and you will have to change a lot of your habits. You will have to give up foods that you like and eat at odd times. This is how the professions do it and also how the Hollywood actors do it. They go on a specialized diet a couple of months before they need to begin filming a movie. Sad thing is that most of them can't keep their bodies or they will not get future roles. Example - Sylvester Stallone. Have you seen him a movie where he plays a sensitive role?

Start out slowly or you will hurt yourself. Working out should be fun and not tedious. Convince a friend to join up with you. This will keep the both of you motivated and you will have someone to talk to while you workout. You need to be consistent in your workout. You cannot work out for a week and then take the next week off. This will cause the muscles to wear away. Have you seen a person with a belly, but skinny hands and legs? That is what happens to your muscles if you give up working out after a short time.

Muscles need to be maintained once you have built them. You can't say - O.k. now that I have the body I want I do not need to work out anymore. Just like the models that need to watch their weight, you too need to keep maintaining your muscles. We all learn in school that you need at least one gram of protein for every pound of body weight. When you start working out, you need more than that. Make sure you get the right amount of protein in your diet or all your exercising will be for nothing.
