Touch screen specialist Displax from Portugal today introduced their latest products in the form of the Displax Oqtopus and Overlay Multitouch. The Displax Oqtopus is a portable multi-touch table that is powered by the Microsoft Windows 7. it is capable of recognizing four independent inputs on a 42-inch screen and can recognize a stylus or even a gloved finger. The Displax Overlay Multitouch is a customizable overlay that sits on your LCD or Plasma TV and turns it into a touchscreen-capable display. You can get it to fit screens from 32-inch to 108-inch. The Displax Oqtopus is priced from 4500 Euros ($6,263) to 6500 Euros ($9,046), depending on whether you get a PC and/or LCD screen fitted to it. The Displax Overlay Multitouch retails for between 1300 Euros ($1,809) and 6000 Euros ($8,350), depending on the size.
