Tascam today rolled out the first solar-powered tuner in the world. Known as the Tascam TC-1S, the guitar tuner comes equipped with a rugged silicon wrap, a USB port, a carrying clip, an integrated microphone and a quarter-inch input for guitar and bass tuning. Measuring 3.77-inch x 0.71-inch x 1.57-inch, the Tascam TC-1S will be available from selected Tascam retailers in October 2010 for under $40 each.
